Santorini Beaches

The same volcanic eruption that shaped Santorini, also created some dreamy beaches, beautiful coves and impressive sea caves. Thanks to the island's volcanic soil, there is a diversity of red, white and black Santorini beaches that offer a unique swimming experience.

Red beach Santorini

Red beach is probably the most famous and iconic beach of the island, where both the cliffs surrounding the beach, the sand and the pebbles are all red. Located next to Akrotiri village,with its dark blue waters and volcanic landscape, this beach is a site on its own.

Perissa beach (Black beach) Santorini

Located on the southeastern side of Santorini, Perissa beach is one of the most famous Santorini beaches. Thanks to its black sand and the huge rock emerging from the sea, called "Mesa Vouno", it boasts a unique landscape.

Vlychada beach Santorini

A breathtaking lunar landscape meets volcanic white rocks and grey sand, to create one of the most beautiful beaches of the island. Vlychada is an organized beach, ideal for those who want a not so crowded beach to relax and swim.

Monolithos beach Santorini

Monolithos is an organized beach with shallow crystal clear waters and black sand, close to Santorini airport. Monolithos beach is a family friendly and ideal for children beach with many facilities, such as a football pitch, volleyball court, taverns, bars and restaurants.
